Schedule a powered off server to turn on?

Hello,

We have some Citrix server in our VMware 5.5 estate that require a reboot every night (2 am), however 2 of them never come back up and in the morning I have to turn them on manually.  Is there a way I can get them to power on automatically via a schedule in case they have come up?

No ideal I know and I'm trying to find out why they don't come back up after a restart it is as if there where just gracefully shutdown instead.  Citrix sends the command to reboot and all 4 Citrix servers have rebooted fine for months, but the same 2 have just decided to just shutdown instead every night, if you have any ideas where I can check in VMware too that would be great as Citrix don'f know why.

Thanks

Try using "Scheduled Tasks" in the vSphere Desktop Client to "Change the VM Power State" of the VM.  This is available in 5.5, I don't have a 6.0 implementation up to see if the option is still available..
