SSO !

Hi All,

How do I come to know that which AD user accounts or AD groups are registered with SSO.

Is there a way I can pull the info

Also I would like to know how can I register an AD group in SSO

Thanks

You usually do not configure AD users and groups to "register them with SSO" even though there is the option to add users or groups to the SSO admins.

I will just guess that you mean identity source Smiley Wink

If you really meant the SSO users and groups management, have a look here

Thanks Frank for the reply,

The links you have mention talk about the user management and group management from the SSO.

It is not talking about AD users and groups.

I would like to know how can AD users and groups can be managed

thanks

In your normal AD management solution? SSO is not a substitute to manage your AD users and groups, it is a tool to make identity sources, like AD domains and LDAP available for authentication.

If you want to grant permissions to AD users and groups for vCenter server it is still the same method as it was in 5.0 and earlier, using the permissions tab in the vSphere Client or Webclient. To actually be able to choose AD users and groups there you have to add the AD domains as identity sources to SSO like described above.
