SQL Server 2000 faild to start.

Hi,

I have a fresh installation of Windows 2003 on the vSphere version 5.
In the windows, I have installed sql server 2000.
After installation, the service does not start and shows an error 1067.
I can not even install sql server SP4 on it.
Any help is welcome.

Do you have any error in the event log?

Ensure that .net is not corrupted. That usually the cause of the problem. Do a repair on SQL

hi man i have a similar problem too with vmware but in the link in the first comment i did not find the solution and now i will reinstall the Sql server maybe its works this time http://www.belvini.de/lexikon/Champagner.html

Uninstall dot net framework and reinstall it.
