SNMP ESX4

I'm trying to enable SNMP on one of my ESX 4 hosts to shoot info over for both Zenoss and the Solarwinds monitor, but I'm not having much luck. I have followed the directions listed here, except that I am using the public community name.

I ran a portscan and did not see SNMP port even though the firewall has incoming 161 UDP and out 162 UDP.

Running a local snmpwalk does show info, but then it says:

SNMPv2-MIB::sysORUpTime.1 = Timeticks: (14) 0:00:00.14

SNMPv2-MIB::sysORUpTime.2 = Timeticks: (14) 0:00:00.14

SNMPv2-MIB::sysORUpTime.3 = Timeticks: (14) 0:00:00.14

SNMPv2-MIB::sysORUpTime.4 = Timeticks: (14) 0:00:00.14

SNMPv2-MIB::sysORUpTime.5 = Timeticks: (14) 0:00:00.14

SNMPv2-MIB::sysORUpTime.6 = Timeticks: (15) 0:00:00.15

SNMPv2-MIB::sysORUpTime.7 = Timeticks: (15) 0:00:00.15

SNMPv2-MIB::sysORUpTime.8 = Timeticks: (15) 0:00:00.15

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSystemUptime.0 = Timeticks: (111112677) 12 days, 20:38:46.77

Timeout: No Response from localhost

Any ideas?

Opps - forgot to note that Zenoss, a portscan, and Solarwinds do not see any SNMP active.
