Hi,
I want to buy two SFP+ network cards for my servers.
I'm thinking of three models but haven't decided yet:
- HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562SFP+ adapter
- HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 524SFP+ adapter
- HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 548SFP+ adapter
I think I will choose the HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 548SFP+ adapter because its price is low.
One card will be for HPE ML350 Gen10. This is my virtualization server with ESXI 7
The second card will be for HPE ML110 Gen10, this is my storage with TrueNAS SCALE
My network switch is Unifi USW-AGGREGATION.
If I choose one of these cards, what inserts and cable do I need to buy to connect these network cards to my network switch?
These cards have two SFP+ ports, so I thought to use one port from each card to connect them to the network switch.
And the second ports of both cards should be connected to each other so that the ML350 and ML110 would have a direct connection with each other.
I will want to set up iSCSI.
I have never had contact with SFP+ inserts and SFP+ cards
Thanks!
