Our setup standardizes on 4 TB Datastores.
We have a Windows DFS server with 2 - 2 TB drives which maxes out the datastore. I was thinking I should separate the vmdks to get more room on the datastores -- There are 7 in the cluster.
What guidelines are suggested for doing this? What are the benefits of leaving the server on one datastore, versus separating the drives? This is all being managed by SDRS.
