I have been toying with some ideas and was wondering how everyone here deals with this issue. I have a client or two who uses terminal server to publish out the whole desktop to the thin clients. Ever so often someone will browse to an infected web site. Currently we use Vranger to restore from a previous day.
What I was thinking is to take a snapshot and on a weekly basis revert to the snapshot. I understand that all changes would be lost and users currently logged in would be dropped. However that would give me a clean server once a week. After installing updates or service packes the snapshot would have to be deleted and recreated. Is anyone doing this or some other technique to solve this issue?
