Restart Management agents via ssh on ESXi 4.1

I have found how to enable remote Tech Support Mode (TSM) on ESXi 4.1, and have opened an ssh session to the host. However, I can't find any way to restart the management agents. All the docs say to use the Local TSM interface, and use the menu structure to do this, but this seems only to be available when you are in local mode. How do I (or is there any way to) restart these via a Remote TSM (ssh) session?

Hello.

It appears that /sbin/services.sh restart will work, but might not be supported. You might want to research it a bit more first, or at least try it in a test environment.

Good Luck!

Just as a follow-up, in case this wasn't obvious, I'm trying to do the same thing as what I do on ESX with the following two commands:

/etc/init.d/mgmt-vmware restart

/etc/init.d/vmware-vpxa restart

Thanks!
