We are getting very similar results as this thread.
Repeated com.vmware.vcHms messages to install vr2c-firewall.vib
As all our hosts are attempting to install this firewall VIB ever 4 hours (according to the esxupdate.log file on the host).
The vSphere Console is showing the following. install followed by update SSL thumbprint registry.
I am trying to determine what the install is, why it happens so often and if it is an issue or not.

Exactly the same issue here, would love to know the cause. Everything seems operational. SRM and replication are in use.
