Rename open-e iSCSI Targets

Hi,

we have to rename our existing iSCSI Targets on our open-e SAN "RFC 3720" compliant.

See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISCSI#Addressing

The name will change for example from "failover.esxi" to "iqn.2001-04.com.example:failover.esxi"

Several of this iSCSI Targets are connected to ESXi 4.x Server.

Which problems will occur?

Is it as simple as:

Rename the targets, reconnect the new named target, scan for new HBA and all VMFS Storages will be found again?

Or do we have to resignature the VMFS-Stores?

Regards
