I would like to remove a datastore from my ESXi 5.0 environment. I have used Storage vMotion to move all VMs to other datastores. If I now browse to the datastore the only remaining folder is .dvsdata for my Distributed vSwitch.
Whe I run net-dvs it still shows three entries pointing to the datastore I wish to remove. Is there a way to manually move this folder? Or is it safe to remove the datastore and vCenter will take care of the rest?
