Removed snapshot from the Snapshot Manager

Hello,

I have 10 Snapshots in Snapshot Manager, I have to remove 5th number of snapshot from the snapshot manager. Is there any impact in guest OS performance or any chance to corrupts delta disk.

And how child and parent disk structure in VMware

You can remove the specific snapshot by selecting the snapshot and delete .

Deleting the snapshot ideally doesn't cause any Guest OS performance issue . If the snapshots are old , you can probably shutdown the VM and then delete the snapshot .

For Child and Parent CID identifier mismatch  read the below one.

Thanks for Guide,

But in past experience. I have remove 5th number snapshot from the manager. After I removed I getting an error Child and Parent CID identifier mismatch. So my questions is it is possible to such kind of issue when we have to removed middle snapshot from out of listed snapshot.
