Regarding services running on esxi

Hi All,

When we do a restart of services on the esxi host we see the following daemons  being stopped and restarted....so restarting a service is restarting the daemon?
These below are all the services that run on an esxi host?
And when we tell Vcenter services are they the services that are installed on the server operating system where Vcenter is deployed(i've attached a image of it)??

Can someone tell me what these below services do??

vmware-fdm
vslad
svm-autostart
sfcbd-watchdog
usbarbitrator
vmware-vpxa
wsman
slpd
vprobed
vobd
storageRM
sensord
lbtd
hostd
TSM(tech support mode)-SSH
ntpd
DCUI
TSM
it would be very helpful if someone gives a document where info about the services are given.
thank u in advance.

Abhilash, I am having a littlebit hard time understanding your question. Do you want to know what vCenter services are OR you want to know the ESXi services ?
