I am fairly new when it comes to Virtualisation and strategies to avoid any drastic downtimes, therefore i would need your
assistance and recommendations for choosing the right products/licenses 😉
For a customer project i have a current problem:
On a logical server 1 there will be lets say 2 VMs running with ESXI, incase of a failure,
Server2 should be firing up or be ready to take over. In simple terms, One server should be identical to the other one.
I read a little about vmsphere cluster, correct me if I am wrong but, i would need at least 3 nodes right to have high availibility
running right?
For the hardware limitations, i have only 2 physical HP DL360 Servers without having any additional hardware ( Storages ) .
