We recently ran into an issue with a physical server and need to get something setup to replace it in a short time frame, but I am having difficulty finding a USB Modem that is supported for Passthrough on ESXi 5.5. I saw a USB device list posted somewhere with a list of supported devices, but didn't see any modems on it, and am wondering if this was a complete list or just one listing things like thumb drives and external hard drives.
