Receive over errors - dropped packets

Having an issue with pretty much all of our new HPE Synergy hosts dropping packets.  When I look at the nic stats I see "Receive over error" counts that match the packets dropped count.  I'm struggling to find a clear explanation of what exactly that metric is though.  Anyone have an idea?

We got the same on our Simplivites.

I'am facing the same issues.My infrastructure also uses hpe Synergy 480 Gen10.

Have u resolved that issues? Is there any update for us?

No, we had a long case running with vmware.
After several hours they sad, it would be a software glitch and we have to upgrade our ESX to 7.
We'll update our ESX in two weeks and then look again.

But I don't think it will fix the problem.

We'll see
