Recently upgraded to v6, after which we are experiencing random vm reboots running Oracle on RedHat, the vms are nodes in a RAC cluster. Looks similar to the power being pulled nothing in the OS not even a crash dump etc just normal running then the startup boot process. I dont see anything in vSphere to indicate system activity such as vmotion etc.
Anyone give some guidance on how I can rule out vSphere. The RAC clusters were stable up until the migration from v5.5 to 6. The only thing I can think of is upgrading the tools and HW version. but normally if there is an issue one would see a crash or kernel dump.
