Raid 5 array does not show up in Vsphere

I have a Proliant ML 350 G5 with a Smart array p600 that has  5x 2TB Sata disks connected to it.I have created an raid 5 array and one large volume. My problem is that I cant se the volume in the Vsphere client.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

If this get resolved, what is the best way of creating one large volume that one OS can manage? Speed is not verry important.

I destroyed the array and the disks still dont show upp.

vmware bug or controler problem?

I had this problem earlier in 4.1, I then used Windos and HP array configuration uttility and created 1,9TB volumes of an raid 5 array.

Hi, that post refered to ESX 4.1, on 5.0 the limit is 64TB, or is there another limitation I am missing?

The sulution in that post works. But sins this is ESX5 I would like to have a single volume if possible.

Do you see your RAID controller under storage adapters?

Have you upgrade the firmware to latest version?
