RPO AND RTO

Hi,

I have 30 vms in primary site and 15 vms in secondary site ,what would be the RPO and RTO if i go with below solution .

1.VSphere Replication

2.Storage Real time repication

are we able to perform vsphere repliction with out SRM

RPO and RTO times are dependent on the the network bandwidth between the sites and the rate of data change - so it will be difficult to quantify.

1) The best RPO VR can do is 15 minutes.  RTO is 100% dependent on your procedures for bringing things back up.

2) RPO of 0 can be achieved.  RTO is dependent on prodcedures.

Yes, but that's just replication then.  It doesn't help you actually bring the VMs online on the other end (IP address changes, startup order, etc)
