I have recently built a RHEL 6 server on my vSphere 4.1 environment. At the weekend we had an issue with our SAN Storage filling which caused the datastores to become disconnected (don't ask :)). Once we resolved the issue all the VM's were fine apart from the one Red Hat system which put itself in read only. I have read this is by design to protect the file system from corruption but even after a restart we cannot get the server back operational. The system just hangs on restart. Does anyone have any ideas?
