RDM disk VM

Hi ,

VM with 3 RDM disks in physical Mode hosted in standard lone host ESX 4.1

Want to migrate VM from standard lone host ESX 4.1 to ESXi 5.5 cluster

3 RDM LUN id is already masked to ESXi 5.5 cluster, while storage vMotion VM, the RDM disks is converting to VMDK to destination datastore

I don't want converting the disk from RDM to VMDK , just want to move the RDM pointer file to destination datasotre

I am doing cold migration

Please let me know is there any other way

Unmap the disk and remap the rdm disks to the new host once the cold migration is over, then readd the disks as RDMs to the VM once it's in the 5.5 hosts
