RDM Disk Sharing Setting for Windows cluster

Hi. Setting up a 2 node Windows 2012 failover cluster on esxi 6. It's cluster across boxes. I've created the rdm disk and scsi controller and set to physical compatibility mode, but I don't know what setting to use for "Sharing". Should it be Multi-writer, No Sharing or Unspecified?

Thanks.

This new option available on vSphere 6 Update 1 through vSphere Web Client is to manipulate the multi-writer flag, that is not the case for Microsoft Failover Cluster, see: New method of enabling Multiwriter VMDK flag in vSphere 6.0 Update 1 (UI + API) | virtuallyGhetto

For the Microsoft Failover Cluster you need only to change the SCSI controller compatibility mode, see the guide: https://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-60/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/vsphere-esxi-vcenter-server-60-setup-...

OK, thanks. I figured that the default should be left alone since there was no mention of the setting in the documentation, but since the whole topic is disk sharing and the setting name in question is "Shared", I thought I should check.
