RAAS Virtual Lab

I’m attempting to create a RAAS lab using Windows 2008 R2 and ESXi 4.1 Update 1 I have built a number of V’s  connected to an inside vSwitch that hasn’t got a physical NIC attached.  The RAAS VM has two virtual NICs one attached to an outside virtual switch that has a physical NIC and the other the Inside vSwitch.  The problem is that with the Routing and Remote Access service switched on I can ping machines from the inside switch to the outside switch but not the other way. With the service switched off I can do the opposite.  Does this point to an issue with the configuration of the service or am I missing something fundamental in the virtual setup?

Apologies all sorted I had added the NAT role that was messing things up.
