Question regarding Syslog message on ESX server

We received the following Syslog message on the ESXi 5 server:

kernel:<1>do_set_interface: bulk OUT ep for interface[0] enabled

kernel:<1>do_set_interface: bulk IN ep for interface[0] enabled

Is this syslog message of any importance and does it indicate that there's something wrong w/ ESXi?  I wasn't able to find much on this particular syslog message.

Doesn't state anything is wrong with ESX, per se.

Have you updated any configuration to coincide with that timeframe?  MTU? Traffic shaping? Anything network related?

No recent changes.  However, network wise, changes were made to support jumbo frames across the whole network a little over a month ago.

Was that change made on the ESX hosts as well?

I wouldn't worry about the message if nothing is going wrong. It has probably to do with your change towards the network and doesn't seem to be causing any harm Smiley Happy

not sure, I believe the ESXi server is already set to accept jumbo frames.  Is there a way i can check?  thanks in advance.

You can see if the MTU for the NIC's and vSwitch is set to 9000, also check if the physical switch support jumbo frames.
