We have fixed most of our "Exeption 14" PSOD with patching the hypervisors BIOS and firmware to the newest versions.

Otherwise find some explaination for "Exeption 14" here: VMware Knowledge Base

Hope to help Smiley Happy

You can look at this KB https://kb.vmware.com/kb/2146388 for guidance

as the PSOD symptom looks very similar; in addition to that, the x3650 M5 is also using E5-26xx-v4 CPUs.

You need to update the firmware of the x3650 M5.

If the latest x3650 M5 UEFI release (2.61) includes the Spectre microcode update, the microcode version you will get will be at least 0xB00002A

From the build number on the PSOD, 6921384, the ESXi 6.0 Patch 6. It will be best if you also update to ESXi 6.0 U3e to get Spectre protection on the VMs running inside the ESXi.

2.set power management to MAX Performance.

3.disable P-state C-state.
