Purple screen of death ESX 6.7

Hello, one of our clients is getting the attached error on their HP server and all VM servers go offline. A reboot resolves the issue for about a week then happens again. Wondering if any clever people can quickly decode and advise on where the fault may lie? Much appreciated.

It seems MCEs are hardware faults: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1005184

Hi Dbaa,

Please check what is the processer family you are running as there is a know issues where you see this kind of PSOD and you need a micro code update ,

This is a known hardware issue affecting supported versions of ESXi host with Intel Xeon Processor E5 v4, E7 v4, and D-1500 families. This is a not a VMware issue.

KB : https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2146388

Please check if this KB applies to your scenario as the PSOD looks similar .

Thanks Scott, yes does appear to be a hardware fault but was hoping someone was a bit more proficient than me at reading the error codes. The server was moved recently and I suspect the iLO was not plugged in as I'm unable to access it for a health check. I'll visit site tomorrow and check it over.

Thanks Pasnal, the server does not have any of those processors. It's a HP ML350 Gen10 with a Xeon-S 4110.
