I 'm trying to do a vmotion with Latency Sensitivity set to high for a voip application VM and the ESXI 6.5 server hosted on HP DL 380p Gen 8 server crashes and throws a PSOD while this is happening.
Dunno what to derive out of this. This happened twice to me.
There is another server in the cluster with same config and that server does not show PSOD behaviour.
Please help me debugging his issue.
P.S I'm unable to collect/download logs for this.
Looks like the issue is due to vmxnet3 driver. Raise a case with vmware and check if this has been already reported as bug or any solution available for this.
This is a Known issue with ESXi 6.5 while performing vmotion. VMware has no workaround / fix for the issue, reboot the server to resolve the issue.
