Problems discoverig disks after ESXI HP CUstom image on HP microserver gen8

I have tried to install ESI 6.0 onto an HP micro server  gen8 but during the install none of my 2 HD's are discovered.  I have tried to reinstall several times with the same results.  Cant understand why this is happening.

There seem to be several issues with the integrated hpvsa driver (version -90 or -92) for the B120i SmartArray controller.
