Problem with adding exiting shared hard to new VM

Hi,

I install ESXi6.5U3, then I create 2 VM

first I add SCSI controller to vm1 and chose "LSI login SAS" and "Virtual"  for the option,

then I add new hard and chose "Thick provisioned, lazily zeroed", "independent persistent", "multi-writer sharing" and the OK

then I edit the setting for vm2 and create a SCSI controller like above,

now, when I add new exiting hard for vm2, I can't select "multi-writer sharing", it's gray out and below of it show me this error: Disk sharing is only possible with eagerly zeroed, thick provisioned disks

can anyone help me?

I want to use this hard for oracle

The hit already told you the disk need to create by eagerly zeroed option.

you can follow kb1034165  to create the shared disk for oracle.

Thank you for your reply,

as I mentioned before and you can see it on the first picture, I create by eagerly zeroed option on the first VM,

2nd picture is VM2 that I want to add an exiting hard(with eagerly zeroed option)

can you help me with that?

in the kb1034165 article, there is no full documentation for ESXi version 6.5
