Problem with OpenManage 6.5 on ESXi Host

Hi,

We just migrate all ESX Hosts to ESXi 5.  We have also downloaded and get OpenManage installed on one of them (According to this document http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/software/svradmin/65_02/ESXi_ts/esxi5_ts.pdf).

When we attempt to connect to the host via https://ESXHostname:1311/ we get the error message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

We have done some research and checked some services and it seems that all of them are running properly:

~ # /etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog status

sfcbd is running.

~ # /usr/lib/ext/dell/srvadmin/bin/dataeng status

dsm_sa_datamgrd (pid 3469 ) is running

dsm_sa_eventmgrd (pid 3735 ) is running

dsm_sa_snmpd (pid 3746 ) is running

~ # esxcli software vib list | grep OpenManage

OpenManage            6.5-0000                            Dell    VMwareAccepted    2012-05-15

Your advice is sought.

Thanks

one more stuff..

Are you directly connecting using browser, if yes it will not connect.

you need to install Dell Management Console  on the remote machine where you are trying to access it.

I have searched in the web and a fellow suggests "Installing OMSA Web Service on another machine".  Is it correct ?
