Problem with ESXI 6.7 Update 3 (Build 14320388) and hostd.log

Hi All,

I have installed on a Intel NUC Vmware Free esxi 6.7. last weekend i updated the Linux VM on the machine.

When i go to hostd.log i see multiple times the following error messages in the logging overview:

"2020-04-14T17:26:15.372Z error hostd[2098487] [Originator@6876 sub=Solo.HttpSvc.HTTPService] Failed to read request; stream: <io_obj p:0x000000e944b79a90, h:-1, <TCP '127.0.0.1 : 8309'>, <TCP '127.0.0.1 : 38648'> FD Closed>, error: N7Vmacore16TimeoutExceptionE(Operation timed out: Stream: <io_obj p:0x000000e944b79a90, h:-1, <TCP '127.0.0.1 : 8309'>, <TCP '127.0.0.1 : 38648'> FD Closed>, duration: 00:00:49.958983 (hh:mm:ss.us))

--> [context][/context]

Can some tell me whats the issue?

Also the following error is present:

2020-04-14T17:28:53.764Z error hostd[2098480] [Originator@6876 sub=Default] IpmiIfcOpenIpmiOpen: open(/dev/ipmi0, RDWR) failed 2 m.

I use the NUC with esxi for a home lab at this moment.

Anyone an idea?

The second IPMI error i found is saying me that the Intel NUC don't have an IPMI sensor. So thats error is ok.

Only the other error is very strange. i cannot place the error message. They still there every 5 minutes and 5 times. Also when all VM's powered off.

Any idea? Any suggestions?
