Hello
I have a problem with a VM on my Vmware 5.1 with Centos 6.4 . The vmware-tools is not working any more. (and the service disapear from /etc/init.d). When i launch from /etc/vmware-tools/services.sh start, it tell me to reconfigure the vmware tools with /usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl
And when i launch it at end i've got a :
"
"" is not a directory.
Execution aborted.
"
Nothin else, first time i have it ... What can it be ?
Thx
Hi and welcome to the communities, It seems that the vmware tools have been uninstalled either during upgrade or manual. Can you confirm if sudo is not the prob here by giving sudo /usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl

I have upgraded the system from Centos 6.3 to 6.4 via yum.
Thanks i was log in as root, but launch the command as sudo works like a charm.
