Problem of utilizing device for data store

I have a 6.3 TB RAID system which ESXi 4.0 can identify as capacity.

But when creating the data store it only utilizes 370 GB of it.

What do I do wrong?

Welcome to the Forums - this is a very common mistake - ESX and ESXi can only recognize/utilize sotrage of 2 TB or less - so you will have to chop the 6+ TB LUN in to LUNs less than 2 TB

Thank you for your quick response.

Where is the reference document for this limitation. I could find vmfs limitation for 3.5 , but nothing about the hardware itself , specifically for 4.0

Thanks
