Problem installing Esxi on New Cisco Blade B200 M4 Server

Hello i have been doing this for a week and still doesn't get the luck on bypassing this problem i tried different options and procedures and done hundred reasearch but still did not get it working.

If anyone can help me with this will make me so happy. I really need help regarding this issue. and i already took a week on this new cisco blade server .

Here is the screen shots about the error after i select the disk in vmware. esxi installation

Which ESXi image were using by you for installation?

Hi,

Your logical drive that you want install ESXi on that, how big is it?

Dd you try to install ESXi on another storage type?

I am using the CISCO Blade UCS B200 M4 with the newest version of unified computing i think its 2.2? i tried to configure different modes for the local storage. the type of the hard disk is.

here is some screenshots . I spend 2 weeks all day trying to fix this issue Smiley Sad

I made an effort to do a screenshots of my cisco blade server..

this is very depressing i cant make it work . i tried installing windows server 2012 r2 and it says

'Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu.'


please sir Davoud i hope you can resolve this issue . i cant install an OS In my cisco blade server that is my only one problem !

I think its an issue with the physical disk block size, currently you have 4096 block size which is not supported for esxi, pls have a look at vmware kb2081600

How can i change the block size of my virtual drive on CISCO Blade ? i cant find the options where ? Smiley Sad

i think the CISCO blade b200 M4 is only used for SAN only even if you have local hardisk inside i think its only for props and useless and OS cannot be installed in the local hard disk because there is no configuration to change that.

Did you try downgrade version ESXI 5.5 and 5, 5.5 custom image also available on Cisco site, which might help you to trace problem.
