This values are provided to you for info purposes only and it's not really accurate sometimes. It can not be configured.
Anyway, 10.42 is included to 10.0-10.63

The Problem is
we have 3 LANs
10.42.X
10.43.x
10.93.x
all DMZ
If i create a new virtual machine and hav DHCP on - the server took an IP Addres from 10.20.X
and this is LAN Ip Adress Range - not DMZ.
And i dont know where he gets this IP Addres
The 3 ESX Servers have local adresses
10.43 / 10.42 an 10.93
an when i look at the configuration tab in vsphere
i see a lot ov VMNIC s
vmnic8 and vmnic4 10.93.3.200-10.93.3.200
vmnic1 and vmnic0 10.93.3.200-10.93.3.200
vmnic7 and vmni3 10.43.1.200-10.43.1.200
vmnic6 and vmnic2 10.0.0.1 - 10.63.255.254
vmnic9 and vmnic5 nothing
Do i have to configure IP Pools for every LAN section to avoid this phenomenom that a client took a 10.20 IP address ??
or should i have to "reconfigure" both vmnic s ?
Do you have port-based VLANs or many VLANs can be accessed through the same port and you have VLAN tagging?
