if the ESX host is set to synch with NTP server then you can select the each and every VMs to synch the times with ESX hosts only.

there is no additional settings required to do in AD VMs to synch time with NTP.

ntp.JPGMake sure the NTP service option set as shown in picture. if you set first option, it will affect the NTP sync some times. and also please check the firewall port UDP/123 bidirectionally opened between ESXI to NTP

Hello,

it seems is ok, don't worry Smiley Wink

The esxi hosts always have the time in UTC.

Maybe your local time (time zone) is UTC + 1 ?

Anyway, check this to troubleshooting ntp issues:

VMware KB: Troubleshooting NTP on ESX and ESXi 4.x / 5.x

Best regards,

Pablo

Have you enabled Active Directory services on this ESXi host?

If so, you should check the time on your Windows AD server and verify that it is correct.

If you have control over the AD server, you should configure the AD server to synchronize with your SyncServer S100 as well.
