Problem Adding Additional NIC

I added and additional Intel NIC to an ESX4.1U2 host and now can't see either Intel NIC. Also can't access via service console, so stuck command line via KVM access. Any ideas?

The Intel NICS are different models.

Before

1 ea. Broadcom NIC

1 ea. Intel NIC

After

1 ea. Broadcom NIC

2 ea. Intel NIC

First thing I would do is shut down the host remove the new NIC and see if the host is restored -

Are the two Intel NICs the same model? What model NICs are you using?

I pulled the new NIC and still not seeing the old nic at all in vmware using esxcfg-nics -l. It lists the onboard broadcom, but not the Intel NIC in the PCI slot.

Reseated the Old Intel adapter in the PCI and I can now see it. Now just need to get the second Intel running.
