Preserve Datastore in ESX 4.0

I had an existing ESX 4.0 host. I needed to reinstall it and selected "Preserve Datastore" to hopefully preserve the VM that was on the ESX host. Does anyone know where I can look to find it? Thanks for the help.

You can remount under Configuration / Storage / Add...

You must see the VMFS volume, be sure that it prompt a message about maintain the existing data.

It should be available in /vmfs/volumes else can you do a fdisk -l and then check for filesystem type VMFS.

...and if you can't see it, from the console of the ESX Host type

esxcfg-volume -l

If the volume show's up, follow the KB article below to mount it back.
