Power On VM: Failed - The operation is not allowed in the current state.

Hi. I am new to vSphere and ESXi and how this community can assist me.

I have setup vSphere 8 and the vCenter Server Appliance, after which I created 2 NVIDIA DLS servers and installed the vGPU host driver on the ESXi host with no issue.

After restarting the host I am no longer able to start any of the VM's, including the vCenter Server Appliance. Every time I try, I get the "Failed - The operation is not allowed in the current state." error. We only have 1 physical server and one vSphere host instance setup.

The command 'vim-cmd vmsvc/power.getstate' states that the state is in 'Powered off'.

Spoiler
vim-cmd vmsvc/power.getstate
Powered off

I also attached the logs and screenshot and hope that anyone is able to assist me as I am at a loss. It should also be noted that I am now to the vSphere platform and tools.

After some more investigation, it turns out the Host was set to maintenance mode, and this does not allow for VM's to be started. Switching the maintenance mode off seems to have resolved the issue.
