Possible bug in alert configuration in vCenter 6.0...

Hi all;

Please look at the following figure:

If I change the domain extension to something else, for example, .lab or .com, the wizard accepts the setting.

Any ideas?

Looks like its a Bug, similar issue is found on log insight as well when we use local domain.

If you are able to reproduce the issue, raise an SR with VMware and check if there is any bug reported.

LI considers a ".local" email domain to be invalid when creating alerts

Using the C# Client. it accepts the .local mail address. So I think this is a bug in Web Client.
