Hi,
I need to add a nagios user plus keys, plus scripts directory and for these to remain beyond reboots on an esxi server.
I am aware of the scratchpad config parameter ( Creating a persistent scratch location for ESXi 4.x/5.x/6.x (1033696) | VMware KB )
but I need to define three different locations ( the homedir location ) and the keys ( /etc/ssh/nagios-keys) and the scripts directory
I tried another suggestion of adding the sticky bit ( chmod +t ) to these directories but this does not work, they are all lost on reboot
