Performance issue virtual OS X

I have installed OS X on ESXi but have serious performance issues after approx. 1h the machine is running.

The issue seems to be something inside the client machine (ESXi) as if I restart OS X (need to switch off since the system will not respond) it works again for 1h...

I tried on two different Mac mini hardware platforms to run Mac OS X under VMware ESXi 6.0.0:

1. Macmini5,3 i7-2635QM, 8 GB Memory, 2 x 500 GB SATA, ESXi 6.0 release 3029758

2. Macmini6,2 i7-3720QM, 16 GB Memory, 1 x 1 TB SATA, ESXi 6.0.0 release 2494585

I did install OS X 10.10 using an ISO I created out of the OS X DMG file, then updated to OS X 10.11 - so no VMware converter involved.

The issue ist the same for both OS X (10.10 & 10.11) as well on both Mac mini. For sure it's not a lack of insufficient resources....

Does someone has an idea/similar issues or even known solution?

Hi,

Did you install "VMware Tools" after OS installation?
