Performance difference between ESX 3.5 and ESX4???

Has anybody real life expirience from the performance difference esx 3.5 to esx 4.0?

yes. Just having ESX4 running whether your guests are 32 bit or 64bit, we have seen better performance all around. Also, something worth looking at are Some VMmark results

I think the biggest difference between the two is ESX4 now has a 64bit VMkernel

so you will recognize a performance boost if most of your systems are x64 servers?

Right now we are seeing approx 15% improvement on identical hardware and virtualized loads.
