Performance charts problem because time change?

Hi

It seems like there is a problem with the Performance chart display on my system (vsphere 4.1 with esx 4.0 Servers) since 31. October 2010. I suspect that it has something to do with the time change which occured last Sunday night in my time area (Switzerland, Daylight saving time).

1) Real Time Perfomance Data is displayed on VM and ESX Server Objects.

2) Any other Performance chart (daily, weekly, yearly) fails to display

3) If use custom chart i can go back until 1.november (until today) but not further back. This is why i suspect it has to do with the time change on last sunday.

When i look at stats.log, there are error messages like in the attached txt File.

Any ideas? It's not that tragic if the old performance data is lost...have set it up with a new DB in last september...but i would like to see from now on the performance stats...

Here a KB for this issue: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1030305

As a atothr temporal workaround you can try to use "Advanced" reports on Performance tab.

Forget one thing:

Let me add that the time is on all ESX Servers and Vsphere Server correct and identical...

It looks like an article was just posted on this exact issue here:

Performance charts fail after Daylight Savings changes are applied

Hope this helps,
