PERC H800 MD1200 RAID 10 Painfully Slow on ESXi 6.5u1 VMs

Hello I've got a Dell R610 Server running several VMs on both the internal PERC card. I recently added some storage using the PERC H800 combined with the MD1200. The drives are DELL SAS OEM and running RAID 10.

However, the performance of the drives on ESXi is atrocious. When I try to copy a 2GB image from my computer over the network to that particular drive it says that it will take hours. I have no issues on the VMs on the other drives.

I've searched the internet and have found a few things of which I'll enumerate below, all of which have not fixed the problem:

- BIOS confirmed that the Power Settings are for Max Performance not OS Controlled

- Updated to the latest version of ESXi 6.5u1, which I'm assuming contains the latest RAID driver

- Updated the BIOS firmware and PERC H800 firmware to the latest version

This data store is is basically totally unusable at the moment. Any Idea how to fix this?

It may be worthwhile to gather the complete diagnostic information. Please review Collecting diagnostic information for VMware ESX/ESXi (653) https://ikb.vmware.com/s/article/653. Has the logs been reviewed on the time the issue is occuring?  Also, please review Using esxtop to identify storage performance issues for ESX / ESXi (multiple versions) (1008205) - https://ikb.vmware.com/s/article/1008205.
