Hi all
I've been looking to buy a cheapish SATA3 PCI-e card to add port density to my server.
I do not need/want RAID support, just SATA3 ports as I do intense use of passthrough into VMs.
Unfortunatelly I'm not able to find any compatibility report when it comes to non-raid SATA.
The server I have runs on a tyan motherboard (8225) and the 6x internal SATA2 are operational out of the box.
Can anybody shed some light here in terms of what product/chipset I should be looking into?
