PCI bridge doesn't allow only 1 of 2 cards to passthrough...wants the 2

A PCI bridge is common to both a Gigabit ethernet card and a 'Tiger

Jet Network ...Tiger 3XX' telephony card and vmware won't allow you to just passthrough the Tiger card, as pictured::

if you do you, you lose network connectivity which is via the Gigabit ethernet card:

So am seeking advice on the simplest solution here.

Thanks

The same for me. Vsphere sees well the 4 devices that are on the PCI bridge adapter (Texas XIO2200a : startech PEX2PCI4)

I can add one device to one virtual machine and a second one to a second virtual machine but I can't start both at the same time. It says, device already in use.

Quite disturbing, I need both device on two different machines. Any idea?

!

You can see it on the screen I attached. I started the virtual machine that connect to the 000:05:07.0 PCI device. And the virtual machine using the 000:05:04.0 can not start. Error on the second screen I attach.

Tried on VSphere 5.1 and 6.0 (same problem).
