PCI NIC not detected on ESX 4.1

Hi there,

I have installed 2 x ESX 4.1 on the following sever( IBM X3550 M2)

The BIOS can detect the following Quad Port Server card but on the ESX Networking Tab cannot detect the following card. Only the two onboard NIC card can be detected. Pls advise how to get the following to be detected.

We have exactly same PCI-E NICs on our IBM hosts, it works straight out of the box with ESX 4.1.

Did you have that adapter in place while you did ESX installation?

The POST for the additional network card was disabled (by default). I'm not aware of this and have since installed ESX 4.1 for two servers and both are not detected.

This has been rectify by IBM Engineer.

What Should I do next?
