Hope someone can help. We did an upgrade on one of our ESXI hosts from 6.0 to 6.7. One of the servers could not be moved to another host because it had a SPAN port assigned and none of the other servers had this config, so we shutdown the VM and did the upgrade. The upgrade went fine and after turning off maintenance and putting the server back into production, we got an error when booting up the server. It gave us a "no operating system found" . Does anyone have any suggestion on how to figure out why this server will not boot?
Server OS was Red Hat Linux
All the configuration is there are so are all the vmdk files when looking in the datastore of the VM. We had to do the same for a few other hosts when upgrading, and there were no issues at all. The only problem is this one Server and unfortunately we do not have any snapshots of this server to try and recover.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
