Only two Thunderbolt3 ports can be used on Mac-Mini 2018 with ESXi

Anyone knows why for the 4 TB3 ports of my Mac-Mini 2018 with ESXi, only two of them can be used to connect external NIC or SSD? And doesn't matter which two but only two, the third device just cannot be detected and used.

Please kindly shed some light, thanks.

I found that all four TB3 ports on a 2018 Mac mini work, however they are NOT Plug & Play with ESXi.  You'll need to reboot the host if you plug/unplug.

This was tested with ESXi 8.0U1 and the nvme_community fling driver.  I am however unable to update to ESXi 8.0U2 as the community nvme driver fails to load the on-board Apple NVMe, so I am stuck with 8.0U1...
